Update from the November 24, 2025 Board Meeting At its November 24, 2025 meeting, the Board of Education approved the proposed school calendars for the 2026–27 and 2027–28 school years for submission to the Ministry of Education and Child Care.
Approved Motions:
THAT the Board of Education of School District No. 67 (Okanagan Skaha) approve for submission to the Ministry of Education and Child Care the school calendar for the 2026–27 school year as presented.
THAT the Board of Education of School District No. 67 (Okanagan Skaha) approve for submission to the Ministry of Education and Child Care the school calendar for the 2027–28 school year as presented.

School District No. 67 (Okanagan Skaha) is inviting input from families and community members on the proposed 2026–27 and 2027-28 school calendar. Your feedback will help inform the Board of Education as trustees consider whether any adjustments are needed before final approval at the Board meeting on November 24, 2025, at 6:30 PM.
In accordance with Section 87.01(2) of the School Act, every board must prepare a school calendar for each school in its district and submit it to the Minister of Education by March 31, 2026. The proposed calendar must be made public at least one month prior to this deadline.
As part of this process, the District is required to provide an opportunity for parents and employee group representatives to share their comments with the Board of Education.
